Custom Product Policy
Because most products sold by Indus Metal Plaques are custom-made and manufactured specifically for each order, all sales are generally considered final once production has begun.
Customers are responsible for reviewing and approving all artwork proofs, dimensions, materials, finishes, spelling, and specifications before final production approval.
Limited Warranty
We stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of our products and may provide limited warranty coverage on eligible items against manufacturing defects under normal use and proper installation conditions.
Warranty coverage may vary depending on:

- Material selection
- Finish type
- Installation environment
- Usage conditions
Warranty Does Not Cover
This warranty does not cover damage or issues resulting from:
- Improper installation
- Misuse or abuse
- Accidents or vandalism
- Unauthorized modifications
- Environmental exposure beyond intended use
- Normal wear, weathering, oxidation, or patina changes
- Improper cleaning methods or chemicals
- Third-party handling or installation damage
Natural variations in metal finishes, textures, and patina development are considered normal characteristics of custom metal products and are not considered defects.
Shipping Damage Claims
If your order arrives damaged during shipping:
- Inspect the shipment immediately upon delivery.
- Retain all packaging materials.
- Contact us promptly with:
- Order information
- Photos of the damage
- Photos of packaging materials
Failure to report shipping damage within a reasonable timeframe may affect claim eligibility.
Incorrect or Defective Products
If you receive an incorrect product or a product with a verified manufacturing defect, please contact us as soon as possible with:

- Supporting photographs
After review, we may choose to:
- Repair the product
- Replace the product

Returns & Refunds
Due to the custom nature of our products:
- Custom orders are generally non-returnable
- Custom products are generally non-refundable once production has started
Non-custom or stock items may be eligible for return approval under limited circumstances and must be:
- Unused
- In original condition
- Approved in advance by our team
Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise determined.
Order Cancellations
Orders may only be canceled before production begins.
Once production, engraving, fabrication, or customization has started, cancellation requests may not be accepted.
Installation Responsibility
Customers and installers are responsible for:
- Verifying dimensions
- Confirming mounting requirements
- Reviewing ADA compliance where applicable
- Ensuring proper installation conditions
Indus Metal Plaques is not responsible for damages caused by improper installation or misuse after delivery.
ADA Compliance Notice
For ADA signage products, customers are responsible for verifying:
- Local building codes
- Federal and state compliance requirements
- Installation height and placement standards
- Final project approvals
While we strive to provide ADA-compliant products where specified, final compliance responsibility remains with the purchaser and installer.
Limitation of Liability
Indus Metal Plaques shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the use, installation, delay, or inability to use purchased products.
Our maximum liability shall not exceed the original purchase amount of the affected order.
